I need a better cpu but dont know what to get.

If you have a 6300, then for gaming you can't do much better. Getting better CPU cooling and overclocking your existing CPU will be more cost effective.
RAM and and SSD will improve your overall PC more than a new CPU also ...

Yes you can do much better up to 40% better performance with a FX-8350. Check the FX CPU list ordered in lower to higher performance. I would advice against getting either the FX-9370 or FX-9590 because they run very hot and require the best possible and compatible motherboard and cooler.
