I need a Blu-Ray Drive

It's simple, I need a Blu-ray drive. It needs to play Blu-ray and DVD. I thought it would be fairly simple but ive found ones that seem to be only blu-ray/dvd 'writers' and not an optical drive. All i need it to do is read blu-ray movies (including ones that are copyright protected - i've found ones that people say won't read Disney movies). Also, is there any software I'll need to go along with it? External would be preferred, but I won't complain about an internal as long as it doesn't draw too much power (especially if it's cheaper).

I'm going into animation and I'm going to start by studying major disney movies (including the older ones), as well as taking an animation course by Aaron Blaise. Thanks in advance!
