The H110M-R is 100 series which only support 6th & 7th generation CPU’s and the 8600k is 8th generation. You need a 300 series motherboard.

No, that is 9th generation. That motherboard only supports 6th & 7th. You can download a list of compatible CPU’s from ASUS website under the motherboards support page.

Do you have a processor already or is this a new build? If a new build do you have the option to return the motherboard?

The 200-250, what currency? In the UK new CPU’s for 6th & 7th generation are overpriced and hard to find, the secondhand market isn’t much better for price. For modern gaming you want an i7 6700/6700k/7700/7700k, don’t even consider an i5 from 6th/7th generation. However even those i7’s don’t quite match an 8th/9th generation i5.

A pretty crap one, g4560. Also I changed my mind. Could please give me an am4 motherboard for about 100 a cpu for about 200-250
