I need a firewall. I now have Zone Alarm 5.5 Pro which expires in 3 days.
All of the new ZA products have become bloated like Norton and McAfee.
I need a stand alone software firewall. One program to do one job. I have
more than enough utitlies to take care of the other things, anti-virus,
anti-spy, popup blocker,etc.
I keep my PC updated with all MS fixes and update anti-virus each day, run
spy scans each day.
So all I need at this time is a good stand alone firewall.
Thank you for your attention.

ZoneAlarm Pro is still pretty much a stand alone firewall. If there is
anything in there you don't like, turn off it's function. Just because it is
there does not mean that you necessarily have to live with it.

I have yet to find a better firewall for my own personnel use than ZoneAlarm
Pro, and now ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite.
