So, I currently have a budget of 750$ and I'm looking for a good gaming desktop. I play CS:GO, and minecraft. I'd prefer for it to be able to run some other beefy games with around 80 fps. I don't care how the computer case looks as long as the case refrains it from overheating. I am new to making computers so steps would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

An i5 is a great processor, but the 4690 is a bit overpriced. The i5 4590 is a more reasonable choice.

i5 is even overkill to some extent for your usage. BTW its a great processor. Have one myself and it will last me a very long time. Just make shure you buy a dedicated CPU cooler because the stock one tends to be loud and doesn't cool all that well.
