i havent purchased it yet but i am kind of on a 600 canadian dollar budget.

is it possible to use ddr3 ram with these parts? Im asking because i already have ddr3 ram in my current build

No, DDR3 will not work in these motherboards. There are a few boards out there that support both, but I don't see a blue/black one.

You can cut it down to 2x4GB (8GB total), to cut the RAM price down.
