I'm looking at different SP optimized fans to buy for the front of my case as my Corsair AF 120 aren't very effective with there being a front panel at the front with a dust filter. (Front panel off has a 2-4c difference on temps). I'm looking at the Noctua NF-A14 fans currently,I know that noctua fans are very reliable, and good, but I'm just wondering, is there a better SP Noctua fan or in general a better SP fan than the one mentioned, I'm looking to spend a max of £40-50 for the two fans I need. Also I need them to be 140mm.
Other options I looked at -
Corsair ML 140's
NZXT Aer p 140mm

Solution
Consider, these have over 10mm H20 static pressure. The normal Noctua NF-A14s have like 2mm H20 static pressure and most other fans on the market, even those that claim to be high static pressure, have less than that.

Another fan you might consider is the EVGA 400-HY-FX13-KR 140mm fans which...
First off, static pressure won't specifically be helpful if you are PULLING air through those dust filters. CFM and overall airflow would be more important for that. Static pressure is helpful/necessary when you are trying to PUSH air through a restriction. That being said, very high static pressure fans are usually both high static pressure AND high airflow, although there are some models with high static pressure that don't specifically move a lot of CFMs compared to some other models.

Besides which, if they are intake fans, you usually want decent static pressure specs anyhow, especially but not only if you are pushing through a radiator. Also, same goes for any fan mounted on a CPU cooler heatsink.

Does you case support front dual 140mm fans?

If not, then these are probably the best non-Delta fans you can get that are very high static pressure, practically bar none. They are also fairly quiet considering the amount of air they move and their incredibly high static pressure ratings. They are even quieter if you tailor your fan curve properly using a custom profile configured to accomodate the fact that it's unlikely they will need to run at more than half speed, almost ever, but if they are needed to, can. I'd probably recommend that they not run at more than about 40% of total RPM at temps below 60°C but quickly ramp up after that.

Chances are good, and use of these in the past bears this out, that they will be unlikely to ever need to run at or near full RPM because as soon as they start really moving, things cool down in a hurry. Plus, with their higher static pressure they actually put the air where it needs to go instead of bogging down or micro-stalling, or just pushing air out the sides of the fan blades.

Another fan you might consider is the EVGA 400-HY-FX13-KR 140mm fans which have like 4mm H20 but I'm not seeing them available in the UK.

lol pretty late to the party. But darkbreeze would you recommend these Noctua - NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM 158.5 CFM 140mm Fan for the Phanteks Evolv X case. It was recently released but, airflow is not the best. What you think of having these 3 Noctua fans in the front as intake and another 3 different branded fans as exhaust? Should I see a major difference in airflow and thermals? Thank you.
