Question I need a HDMI to Display port adapter for my monitor that runs 1080p@165hz

You might want to specify which end will be going to the monitor and which end will go to the GPU as there are cables that aren't bidirectional. Make and model of your monitor? Make and model of your graphics card? Where are you located? Budget for your adapter purchase?

You just need to search a little more. I found one in 10 seconds. You need to be careful though as passive cables are only compatible from DP out to HDMI in, not the other way around. For HDMI to DP you really need to get an active converter like this:
