I need a network adapter driver where do I get it?

I recently installed Windows 7 on my desktop PC but when I try to connect to the internet it says I need a network adapter driver. I have a Netgear WNDR3400v2 router and a Motorola SURFboard SBG6580. I don't know which driver I need so if someone could help me out that would be great.

It is typically the network driver you would install for the motherboard, and can be found either on the DVD that came with the motherboard, or the motherboard's homepage (recommended as this is where the latest version will be).
