I have a B75 LGA 1155 Motherboard and the graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 1GB) isn't exactly good... Would a ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6GB work with it? (Not exactly sure if i'm allowed to link the exact one but - shorturl.at/aeMN9) if not any suggestions?

can you list the other parts of your pc? Power supply brand, wattage, and how old it is. Also please list your cpu and ram.

as for your question. It is answered if your power supply has the 6-pin power connector that the 1060 needs... and if your psu is quite old - you got to replace it with a new one, just to be on the safe side. I suggest you buy a good brand 450W psu.

Intel Core i5-2400 3.10 Ghz
B75 LGA 1155 Motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 1GB
8GB DDR3 RAM
HDD 1TB

I cant exactly tell how old the power supply is, its a pre-build and the listing just says "500W Power supply" also its enclosed under a screwed on sheet of metal, the best I can do for u date wise is January 23, 2020 (the date the PC was originally made available)

i5-2400 and 8gb of ram... that's a decent budget rig. You just need a good gpu, and that pc will handle many games comfortably at 720p, and some would even run well at 1080p.

we go back again to the important issue of power supply. Psu's no matter how good will all die with age, simply means an aged psu would be supplying less than the wattage advertised on it.

if you can't change the power supply. I suggest going for gpu that don't need external power like GT 1030 (GDDR5), GTX 1050ti, or a GTX 1650. These are still so much better than your GTX 650.

here's a video on what a GT 1030 (GDDR5) can do. GDDR5 version vs. DDR4 version. PUBG, Overwatch, Fortnite, and Rocket League. :)
