Thats my pc build. I am just wondering if i need a new harddrive because everytime i use windows i get 100% disk usage.

When only opening chrome it spikes up to 100 and then back again. When i talk with friends on discord and play lol(league of legends), it can spike and then i cant do anything until it calms back down.

Solution
Your drive may be starting to fail. But I think it may be time to upgrade to a SSD. The have really come down in pricing and can be had for pretty cheap. Here is a decent SSD that will be a really nice boost in performance.

Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7XRNkT/by_merchant/

Storage: Crucial - MX500 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($64.99 @ Adorama)
Total: $64.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

And if you on a budget this will work as a good boot drive.

Solution
delilpolat, besides possibly needing a new HDD or SSD, you want to make sure you have a robust back up plan for situations like these.

The conventional wisdom by tech experts on backups is known as the 3-2-1 method. Basically you want:

3 copies of any data you don't want to lose
2 different mediums it's stored on (so 2 different drives in your computer, for example)
1 copy kept offsite, to prevent against disaster.
