Question I need a new hdd for my hp pavilon

I broke my old Hp Pavillon, and I figured out it was the hdd. The Hdd model name is ST2000DM001. And I need one for about 30$ and 500gb is fine.

It doesn't have to be the same thing as long as it works and compatible.

My Pavillon model name is 23-Q144LA
But i don't think it does support ssd

If it supported a SATA HDD, it will support a SATA SSD.

Yes, if you mean to physically install/attach to the PC. HDDs are standard devices.

You took out a 3.5 inch SATA HDD and just about any 3.5 inch SATA HDD can go back can go back in.
