I just found out my Linksys WRT54GL can't handle my new 60 mbps cable connection, so I switched back to an old Checkpoint Sofaware box I was using.

The problem is that port forwarding doesn't work properly, so issues with video game console connections.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive router that does port forwarding properly? I don't need wi-fi, I have an AP where I need it.

Thanks!

Still need some help.

I had purchased a TP-LINK TL-R860 router. It handled the port forwarding well, but it was limiting my internet connection speed by 15 Mbps consistently. That is why I was replacing the old Linksys.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!
