my 5yr old 17" widescreen just didn't want to power on this morning and i'm looking for a replacement. at the moment i'm sitting with a 24" samsung p2450 1080p screen. and i can't really live without a dualscreen setup..!

i've been arround looking a bit on panel-types and found out, that TN-panels are ****
so i'm looking for either a VA er IPS panel type monitor.
24" should have a OK pixel density for 1080p and would go along with my current 24" (aspect ratio of 16:9 would also be fine)
i'm a gamer! (response times/input lag are important here) and do watch alot of movies on my PC.
what do you recommend?

oh i did forget to mention my budget.. 300-350€ i think i could get a decent VA-type monitor for that. And the new monitor should replace the p2450 as my main screen.

save a little and you can get for 383 eur benq xl2420t, it is 24 inch, has 120hz which is great for gaming and your eyes, has pivot, and if you plan multimonitor setup, it also has very slim bezel. its also a 3d monitor but you would have to buy also glasses for 3d but i would avoid that and just be happy about 120hz and pivot and slim bezel

the main drive is not 3d, i dont care about it, but 120hz display that is a must for gamers and its better on your eyes.

still, i want to lay behind TN-panel. and go with some nice VA/IPS or something really "nice" looking screen.. with saturatet colors and stuff.. i've used up countless hours looking for screens.. either their to slow, bad user-reviews, to expensive.. it's really hard to find something good!
