I need a new processor for my gaming pc

Hey, i wanna update my processor to better got ideas ? heres my specs intel core i3 3220t lga 1155 motherboard, gtx 760msi and 8gb ddr3

Are you willing to upgrade the motherboard and RAM as well? If not, your best bet would be a 3rd gen non-K i7.

the best upgrade for that platform (which is actually same as mine) would be i7 3770
it'll handle most CPU intensive games just fine on 1080p

if u want, u can also consider adding another 8 GB RAM (as some games can utilize that, allowing u to have a smoother gaming experience)
