I am 22 years old, a graduate of Bachelor of Education (Teaching Profession). I have chosen that course because my family want me to. But I really like technologies especially computers, in fact I have now a "mini" business in connection with the computers specifically internet and servers. Now, I want a job to secure my future, but I know that my diploma is not suited to any IT/Computer jobs. Any advice for me to do? Or any computer related job that you can advice for me to apply that will consider my degree?

Thank you very much.

PS: I am not passionate in teaching. They say that in order for you to grow professionally, you should be passionate to whatever you do.

Start looking at the employment ads in your area. See what IT/Computer jobs are being advertised and what education and experience levels are being sought. Match your skills, experience, and knowledge to the listed requirements.

Submit some applications where you feel you are honestly capable of doing the job. Get some interviews and see what happens.

You might, for example, get a job based on the virtue of your BS degree but also with a contingency that you successfully complete specific IT courses and skills.

Get a head start by taking some entry level IT courses in the meantime.

Employers like experience but they also like employees (or potential employees) who are honest, reliable, willing to work, not trouble the boss, or otherwise cause problems. And you may get an offer that could be some sort of training position with opportunities to advance and become more technical.

Just be prepared to work hard and progress from some entry level position into a higher level position that is more technical with more responsibility.
