Adding watts doesn't make it any better. You need higher wattage for systems with more parts, like multiple video cards, water cooling or case fans. Your's could do with just 500 watts, but it's good to have some extra room.

I will recommend to get a PSU from Seasonic, EVGA, XFX. These are the best manufacturers of PSUs. They contain great Chinese Capacitors and a good transformer.
