I need a quiet wired keyboard and a wireless mouse that works!!

I have a stock dell keyboard and it is noisy. I want one thats quiet and cheap. I was looking into a logitech K120 keyboard. How quiet is that keyboard on a wooden surface?

Also I want a wireless mouse because i'm sick of mine getting hung up on the speakers and other things. I dont mind having a wired keyboard since I dont move my keyboard around, but the mouse feels stiff since its being pulled down toward the floor where the PC is.

So basically this is the set up:

So the mouse isnt going to be pointed right at the PC. Do wireless mice still have issues with that?

if you're looking for a wireless mouse then you should give logitech a hard look. they are well known for having quality wireless mice. keep in mind the batteries in wireless mice go bad after about 5 years (and require constant charges!)

any rubber-dome switch keyboard is quiet. stock dell keyboards are of this type. in fact i'm typing on one right now. a mat underneath your keyboard might reduce any impact transfer to your desk solving some sound issues, however there are no keyboards which are 100% quiet and still ideal to use.
