That particular asus board cannot be overclocked. You need P67 in the model # to overclock a k series chip in the bios.
I have an AsRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 that is at the lower end of the price spectrum. I routinely run an overclock of 4.4ghz on my 2600k for long periods and it will happily run 4.8.....

so i m guessing Asus SABERTOOTH P67 might be a good mobo for overclocking. and is it good for a budget build
That board will overclock fine.... It was a pretty good quality board... Except for that weird shroud.... And no, it's not exactly cheap to buy one today...

And what about your mobo. The AsRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3. I did look at the specs and i like that too. Do you think that would be a good motherboard for a budget build. i did look into places like aliexpress.com, as that is one of the online shopping site that our country is familiar with. And the pricing there is around 120 to 190 dollars. in our currency that would be 1850 to 2929 MVR
