I need a Windows XP Driver to work with Windows 8.1

I got a Microsoft fingerprint reader (link below) and it is only compatible with Windows XP. I have already contacted Microsoft support and they can't do anything. I was going to give up home then though "Wait this is the internet! if they can leak celebrity pictures through a Nokia 232 then they can definetely find a way to make Windows XP drivers to work on Windows 8.1" And so I am here. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could show me how to do that. Thank you!

The Microsoft Fingerprint Scanner can work with Windows 7... BUT (there is always a but)... it can only work on the 32-bit version of Windows 7.
