Hi,

I am now looking for a new tv but i have no idea what to buy. I want to connect laptop/smartphone to tv to watch streams/movies/shows, i do not care about cable tv or whatever you call it nowadays.
Which one would you choose and why?
In case someone wonders about the budget, its €450
Should i consider downgrading to 49"-50" to get better quality?

LG 55UN73003LA
Samsung UE55TU8072 or Samsung UE55TU8005
Philips 58PUS7505 or Philips 58PUS7555

I did read about Philips, people claim cheaper philips are utter trash now?
So its either webOS or Tizen

Feel free to suggest your own models (i am in Finland)

which one of LG or Samsung is better
Have you actually viewed the TVs side by side?
Things to look (out) for
Does the TV have a coax connector and tuner? Some Visio don't.
Does the TV have ethernet and WIFI or just WIFI? If it has an ethernet port, use it. Your performance will be much better.
Does the TV have enough HDMI inputs? Unless you have a home theater that is switching HDMI for you, you may need several.
Does the TV have the proper type of audio output? HDMI ARC? Toslink? RCA?

I have a Samsung 8 series and it's increasingly. Most people say go OLED for gaming, it has excellent contrast and color reproduction. Samsung uses QLED which is similar. I always say go a little over budget if the is a better screen on sale/open box at bestbuy. I hope I helped. OlED screens start at $1000 though. I did 12 months of payments with 0% intrest.
