I'm currently in the making of my first PC build and I was wondering, which would be better?

I guess the main point would be, would the overclocking capability on the 6600k be worth it for me?

I have not included a HDD, ssd or a GPU because I will be salvaging them from my old computer (broke down)
Gtx 760 + 1tb hdd
I will mostly be gaming with this comp, with a little bit of rendering on the side
E.g. GtaV, CSGO, Witcher 3, Rise of the T-R and more in the future
The build must have the RAM as I have already bought it, since it was so cheap and a good deal, so no Haswell for me
I am aware that you can OC the 6500 with a z170 board but I didn't want to take that risk
This will be my first time overclocking
I guess the main point would be, would the overclocking capability on the 6600k be worth it for me?
