Hi,

I need advice on which 2 port SATA PCI-E 3.0 x1 expansion card do I need.
My computer specs are:

Asus Prime Z390-P motherboard

I used all four current SATA ports that is built in to my motherboard with

1 512GB SSD Drive

1 2TB Hard Drive

1 4TB Hard Drive

1 Blu Ray Disc Drive burner

I have a eight generation Intel i7 processor

Nvidia GeForce 6GB video card

64 GB Gaming Ram

My computer is a mid tower computer

power supply 550 watts

I need extra storage for my computer. I need one more hard drive and one more SSD drive.

I use my computer for consumer photo editing and consumer 1080P video editing.
Also which brands of hard drives and SSD drives are the best and which ones to avoid?

Thanks

An x1 PCIe 3.0 port is equivalent bandwidth to a SATA port. So don't expect full bandwidth if you are using the two ports on the card at the same time.

Because a 1x PCI-E 3.0 port does not have enough bandwidth for both Hard Drive and SSD drive. I will just get another internal hard drive with a minimum of 10TB of space. Which brand of 2 port SATA PCI-E 3.0 x1 expansion card will be best for me to buy? I will be using only one SATA Port on this SATA expansion card. Another question. Which hard drive brands you recommend for me to buy and which ones to avoid?

Thanks
