Hello,

I will be straight forward

SPECS:

motherboard - Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3
CPU - Intel i5 - 4590 3.30Ghz
RAM memory - 8 GB DDR3 (2x 4GB)
power supply - Corsair CS 650 M

I'm not really gaming, only League Of Children and Mortal Kombat 9 rarely.

I will use this for rendering in keyshot, cinema 4d, after effects VFX etc.(the integrated GPU graphics from Intel is kinda lame / Open GL gives strange errors)

I would pay maximum £200 pounds for it, so show me your best options !

cheers :)

In your case, I would recommend a GTX 960 (on the NVIDIA side). Or you could go with a used R9 290 which will absolutely demolish the GTX 960 (I'm just talking facts).

Yes but that card is used and from ebay I would not purchase that in my personal opinion I would wait and save to £260 to get a Palit Jetstream Gtx 970 it will be worth the wait check it out on ccl. But if you need it now I would either get an msi gtx 960 4gb which is probably the best card out there due to its twin frozr V and 4gb of gddr5 memory or the asus strix 970 4gb which is also beast, but I would definitely recommend the msi card the 290 will probably be better but you do not want a used card. be careful get this msi card http://www.cclonline.com/product/174076/GTX-960-GAMING-4G/Graphics-Cards/MSI-Nvidia-GeForce-GTX-960-Gaming-4G-4GB-Graphics-Card-GDDR5-1216MHz-DVI-HDMI-3-x-DisplayPort-/VGA2839/ not the 2gb one. It includes postage and VAT if you need help installing it just ask!!!

I used to think that eBay is bad. But I bought a GTX 780Ti from eBay, because it was cheap and the seller had good feedback. I'm still running it on this system and it works like a charm. Funny enough, the R9 290 beats the GTX 970 on some games due to the Mantle API. If the R9 290 has a good cooler (like MSI TwinFrozr, Palit Jetsream or Gigabyte Windforce) then you can overclock it to beat the GTX 970. The R9 290 kicks the GTX 960's ass and is cheaper when buying 2nd hand (saving over £50 compared to buying new). The one that I suggested has a TwinFrozr IV cooler and the seller has 100% positive feedback too.

I know but it is used and you don't know what the user has been doing with that card for all I know it could be broken or faulty. I buy new things like this from eBay I bought my rig from ebay with a warranty and it's trustful it's just the fact that it's used. I have been scammed on eBay before to what looked like a trustful seller, I only bought my rig from ebay because it was an actual company that I have been using called ccl
