how can i fix my computer from changing the desktop background, color scheme, and screen resolution every time i turn on my computer? What is wrong with my computer? I have not done anything to my computer. I am the only user and i have not done anything to my display settings.

if it an older pc check the date and time if there going back to 1980 or 1990 then your cmos battery has gone bad on the mb. replace the cr203 on the mb to hold all of the mb settings.

i have done nothing to my computer i do not know much about computers i was just assuming if anythings wrong it must be malware.
if there is simple solution i need help.

it is a up to date computer i just purchased it

downlaod malwarebyets...hitman pro and if you dont have an anti virus software look at avg/avast or bitdefender there all free. make sure your only running one anti virus software. one thing to check to see if your infected is type in msconfig and look under the start up tab. turn stuff off other then your anti virus software. look for toolbars and programs you have not installed. also look under add/remove programs. look by date for the last programs installed.

Or the background was changed by someone else?

Does it do this all the time, or only once?
Is there an actual issue, or you just don't like the settings?
