I need audio on my HDMI port

I have a H330 pc 7781. The HDMI port dosn't have audio on it. If I upgrade the graphics card will I get audio on the HDMI? I am not into gaming and don't need particularly high performance. Can you please suggest a suitable card? And what drivers?

Just upgrade the graphics DRIVERS, most likely your audio issues are due to that. Also note that HDMI does not support audio with 1920x1200 or higher resolution for that machine.

I currently don't have an option for HDMI playback on my Sound device manager. Both Intel and Realtek HDMI audio drivers won't install on my PC so I assumed I had to upgrade my Graphics Card.

Again, upgrade your graphics drivers. If your computer is OEM, download them from the manufacturer's support site

Precisely what? An OEM computer? The most up to date drivers from your manufacturer or Intel?

Just remember that you need to use 720p or 1080p settings for audio to work. 1920x1200 does not support audio, nor does using a DVI to HDMI converter.

Sorry, what I wrote wasn't clear. I meant to say that I have installed the most up-to-date drivers from Lenovo and I still don't get an HDMI option for sound playback. I am quite happy to have 720p or 1080p video transmission. My Viewsonic monitor resolution is 1440x900.
