So my build is
I5 4590
AsRock H97 Performance/ASUS H97M-plus( which is better quality)
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 1600MHZ kit
Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB
CoolerMaster V650 Semi-Modular
OCZ ARC 100 240GB SSD( only play csgo and BF4)
CoolerMaster CM 690 III

WINDOWS 10 or Windows 8.1????!
DirectX12 or directx11
Which gives me the better edge for bf4
And how does mantle performance on r9 380?

Solution
if your building this then go for ASUS H97M-plus with win 8.1 pro, and i would recommend getting aftermarket CPU cooler if you wanna play games for hours.
go with dx11 for now and upgrade accordingly with games you play most.
R9 380 is a solid card for higher mid level build so you will be cool with that.

There are no games currently on the market that use DirectX 12. There may be 1 or 2 released before the end of this year that do use it. Current games may never be updated to use DirectX 12. Just do not count on them to be updated.

DirectX 12 will begin to see nearly all, if not all games supporting DX12 next year. But its going to be later in the year when most games are released, so that is pretty much about 12-14 months away yet.

There will also be waves of new video cards being released by both AMD and Nvidia probably starting in June 2016, and continuing on into 2017 that will better support DirectX 12 than most current cards will.

So I get windows 8.1 ? I want to get wins 10 because I won't be upgrading for like 5 yrs and I want to keep up with specs

Thx mate btw is the ASUS h97m-e bad? Because it's cheaper
