I am making my first PC build this summer. I will upgrade in 2-3 years. What I am planning right now is:
Ryzen 5 2600
GTX 1060 3gb
2x8 DDR4 ram

My question is: Should I get 1x8/2x4 GB ram instead of 2x8 gb and with the extra money, upgrade to a 1060 6gb or ryzen 2600x? Or is my planned build good enough as is? I know that 3gb for vram is not going to last long but like I said, I am planning to upgrade in a few years.

Thanks!

Get a motherboard that has 4 slots for RAM and get 2x4gb (3000+), try to go with the 1060 6gb for the additional vram but also it performs a little bit better due to the increased cuda cores. If you look on Newegg or similar sites there are some B350 motherboards that have had the BIOS updated to accept the newer CPU's.
