I plan on using this system for Games, Movies, Auto cad in that order. I do plan on overclocking. I want to try to keep my budget under $850. The only thing that i can think of that i am forgetting is a cpu cooler does any one have any recommendations? Otherwise i just wanted someone to double check my parts list and give me feedback before i order. Thanks in advance.

I already have a gpu (GIGABYTE GTX460 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125333) so i left that out.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K
PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 $294.98 bundled

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD5-B3
MEMORY: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB $294.98 Bundled

HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 $64.99

Case: COOLER MASTER Storm Scout $89.99

Optic: SAMSUNG CD/DVD $17.99

Total: $762.93

Just curious what are the differences in terms of overclocking/performance from the GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3-B3 to the is it worth the extra money for the more expensive board?

Do i need a 750 watt PSU to run dual cards or would a 650 be enough?

Also i would rather buy better components upfront and get a 2nd GTX460 at a later time since ram is so cheap i thought id get 8 gigs.

Thanks for the reply im really on the fence about which mobo..

here's a feature wise comparison of the two boards:

Few differences here and there. Also both have good overclocking ablities. You won't be disappointed with them.

650 watts should be enough.

But its alway good to have some extra headroom.

You are getting 8 GB memory with the combo.
