i need Graphic card for Optiplex 980

Hi .. my dell Optiplex 980 only has the 305 watt power supply .. so i need to Know what the best Graphic card work fine and fit with my Optiplex 980

A low profile version of the Radeon 7750 should work with that PSU and should fit inside your case as well if it's a small form factor

yea but the the Radeon 7750 request 400 watt !!! .. not 305 watt

Check inside the case and look at the PSU sticker, if there is more than 16A under the +12v rail then the 7750 would work

If not, then a low profile Radeon 6450 should be fine if all you're going to do is watch some movies and browse the web

The PCI-E x16 slot will work fine, but what about the power supply? check the sticker and tell me the amp reading under +12v rail lol, if it's 16A or more then the 7750 should be fine

Looks like it has two 12v rails at 15A and 10A which would be enough for a 7750.

Which size is your Optiplex? you'd need a low profile card if it's a small form factor

It also says that the combined 12v rails will not exceed 240w which is 20A, that's more than enough for a 7750 which runs on 75W off the PCI-E slot

also, what's your CPU?

Please have a look at the link above and check page 20 for the MINI TOWER MT dimensions if its compatible with 7750?
