The b350 board will work with the 2600, but it will need a bios update. You will need a previous generation Ryzen CPU to update the bios. If you go with a b350 board, make sure you get memory on the motherboard QVL as 1st gen Ryzen has real memory compatibility issues.
If it were me and I was building a $1200 system, I would spend a little extra and get a x470 motherboard. You wont need to worry about the bios update and the 400 series has much better memory compatibility. It may save you from some headaches down the road. This is a decent midrange x470 board.
