I need help buying displays - best deals? where to buy them?

I want at least two monitors side by side. Maybe three. One for watching videos, one for productivity. 20-23 inches are ok.

1. What is the good deal monitors? I also care about power consumptions. Or perhaps I shouldn't worry about electricity bills so much by buying some kind of portable solar panel powered giantic battery if there is one and someone could point to it.

2. Could I fit 2 monitors on a walk station like this? http://www.beyondtheofficedoor.com/LSP-TR1200-DT.php I want a walk-station. I want to be able to rotate between standing, walking, and sitting all on the same computing station. And lie down too; I would have to use a laptop for that I guess.

3. What is the best thing to put your laptop on while lying down so that you can use the computer while lying down?

Well, I have an ASUS VE228H currently and am fairly happy with it. Because you aren't using the monitor for games or graphical content creation I would just recommend you get 2 cheap 21.5" monitors to save some money. It's got all the connections and built in speakers.

It looks like you could put two 21.5" monitors on that...

Any lap desk would probably suit you fine if you don't want to rest it on your legs.

I believe ASUS and Dell are the monitors that are usually recommended in the lower end space (and even in general).

Take all these recommendations with a grain of salt. These I picked because they are relatively cheap monitors that I would trust buying myself. Be sure to do your own research on the monitors before you make any purchase.
