I NEED HELP!!! can boot windows but not bios

mobo- asrock 970m pro3
gpu- galaxy gt640
cpu- amd phenom ii x3 b75
hdd- wd blue 1tb
ram- basic 1600mhz ddr3
ok so i can boot into windows just fine but when i turn my pc on it doesnt show bios or my gpu's bios, http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/access-bios-windows-10 i have tried this to get to my bios but the screen just stays black,

What do you need to get to your BIOS for? You could try unattaching the HDD first maybe

il try that really quick, and i unlock the fourth core and overclock, its the only way i can play forza apex, if you try to run it off 3 cores its completely unplayable

unplugged the HDD and it just stayed at a black screen for 5 minutes

Well the fact you OC'd/unlocked the core may be a clue. Could you get into BIOS previously?

It sounds like you may need to flash BIOS or clear CMOS. So your OS runs fine?

i dont think its detecting my gpu until the drivers kick in with windows

BIOS don't need GPU drivers.

yea i could get into the bios previously last time i used it i was installing linux on another hard drive (today for my home theater pc) and right after i did that i couldnt access bios

iv cleared cmos like 20 times atleast and i my os is running perfectly

well i tried installing ubuntu with this pc and it didnt work so i did it on another pc, but how am i going to flash bios without bios access? and both were in uefi

Try boot repair anyway, and it depends on your system, and the ways you can flash, but it could be via a bootable USB, WWindows cmd in Advanced Startup or via software inside your OS (not a good idea but still)

your laptop isnt being shutdown its going into sleep state. for true shutdown right click the shutdown you should be able to see a different option you basically want a full admin shutdown. you can also google that for exactly how to do it with your particular laptop. wifes started doing that too.

Ok, and did you try resetting BIOS with the jumper pins. Sometimes the battery removal method doesn't do a full reset.

idk where the jumper pins are at on this mobo

At the bottom, toward the middle, to the left of the USB 2 header. Just unplug power supply, short with a screwdriver for 10 seconds on the 2nd and 3rd pins (if you dont have a jumper cap), reconnect power and try booting to BIOS.
