Seems like you have a good build planned. For the PSU, I recommend Seasonic or XFX. They are top tier power supplies that won't malfunction and fry your nice new build. A PSU is the last place you want to cheap out.

there isn't any real point in getting a Z97 board if you aren't getting a k series processor, you would be better off with H97 if you still want features like sata express. Getting H97 instead of Z97 will also allow you to put more of your budget towards another component or to just save money.
