[SOLVED] I need help connecting my gpu to my psu.

My psu has a

8x 8pin (6+2) connector. Do I need both connectors? ​

Your PSU does not have 8 times 6+2 cables. What is your GPU and how many power connectors it has?

The gpu is a nvidia 1070 founders edition. The psu is an evga supernova 1000 g3. Sorry that I was wrong.

Take one of the PCIe cable called VGA at one of the end.

Plug the 8 pin side of the cable in the VGA1 port on your PSU.

Plug the 6+2 pin side (The end with the VGA written on the cable) in your 8 pin GPU power.
