Ok guys I am trying to decide weather to go with an Intel based build or an AMD based build.
I will be mostly gaming on it. I'm running a FX6300 now and I'm just not pulling the frame rated that i want to. Well here they are. Also, I am trying to decide whether to go with two 760s in SLI or one 780. Any help will be appreciated as I will be ordering within the next few weeks.

Intel:

Option 2 http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ztaft/saved/3STu

AMD:

Yea, I have they are only 3 db louder than noctua fans at 12V, and from what I can find two 760s out perform a 780, but long term gains is what I'm looking for. Ie will two 760s hold me through for two years until i build another gaming system.

Yes they should but it depends how good the game supports 2x760 and they will have still 2GB VRAM since it does not use 2GB+2GB and a little higher electricity bill.

so you think it would be better to get one 780 and if i start seeing a performance drop get another 780 down the road?
What are your thoughts on the CPUs? AMD vs Intel?

Right now I'm playing Assassins Creed Black flag, Battlefield 4, ARMA 3, War Thunder and plan to play Titanfal. I'm sure the high end titles will support SLI. I know that War Thunder does as i played it when I still had my SLI 280s rig.

The GTX 780 will crush any game that you throw at it for a single monitor even at higher resolution than 1080p. Sli/Crossfire have issues and some games dont support it good and this would be a decrease in fps and the GTX 780 has more VRAM and you can sell the GTX 760 second hand. New games could require more than 2GB VRAM.
