I am new to pc building and after finishing i connected the power supply to a multi plug connector (cable doesn't reach to the wall outlet) and when i went to turn on the pc nothing happened. I moved the pc to the wall outlet and still didnt turn on. I connected one loose wire that was leftover and the pc turned on for about 2 seconds and then off again. The pc still refuses to turn on since then. My specs would be as follows, if that helps: CPU i5 4430, graphics card geforce 1060 3gb, mobo b85m-ds3h-a from gigabyte micro version, psu is the 500b bronze edition from evga, ram would be 16gb (2×8) sticks from g. skill ripjaws. Again any type of help would be good and thank you.

Solution
Okay back to a breadboard. Try to boot with only 1 stick of memory and a CPU and CPU cooler installed. See if it boots. If so keep adding parts one at a time till it either doesn't boot or EVERYTHING boots. (This will narrow it down to a specific part or specific part of the board)
