I need help figuring out why my cpu is overheating!

I recently decided to build my own pc after using an Alienware prebuilt that didn't last too long. I researched, got all the parts I needed for what I need my pc to do and started building it once it all came in. I followed a guide and before putting the pc in the case I tested it to make sure everything was working. Turned it on and it was all running as it should. My problem began once I put it into the case, I got a warning sign on the lcd screen on the AIO and the bios was reading my cpu temp was 100+ degrees Celsius. I talked with my uncle who knows a lot about this stuff and he said "I would try to replace the thermal paste". So I did that, but no luck, it is giving me the same errors and the bios was still telling me the cpu was overheating and that the rpm on the cooler was 0. What do I do? Is the pump dead? Im really lost and stressed because I have spent probably too long trying to figure out what the issue is.

no idea which AIO you have, but if it reads 0 rpm, than you need to fix that
if you have single fan connector (like from arctic), connect it to CPU fan header
if there are two, connect pump to cpu opt fan header and fans to cpu header

note how many pins fan connector(s) have
if its 3pin, in bios fan header needs to be set to DC mode
if its 4pin, in bios fan header needs to be set to PWM mode

pump should run at 100% fan speed, ignore if you dont have separate pump connector
fans on radiator should be set to follow CPU temperature curve

Sorry the AIO is the Corsair iCUE H150i elite lcd xt.

right, so... pump (24pin) and fans (4pin) and RGB (4pin) are connected to some adapter called commander core
from that adapter called commander core you get 3pin fan connector, which you plug into CPU header
commander adapter is powered though SATA power connector
and there also 9pin USB connector which you can plug into mainboard, so you can control your fans/RGB in windows through software

this aio cant be controlled through bios, you can control it just through iCUE software
