I'm new to this I know I should probably have someone build it for me, but I want the experience. I'm look for a motherboard that is compatible with the i5 4460 and the GTX 1060 it also needs to be compatible with ddr3. I really need help with this I'm way too stupid to do it. Thank you.

You can use the https://pcpartpicker.com site to find your MB, like any H81, B85, H87, even the H97, etc lga 1150 MB, because you don't post what budget you have, where you are.

Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz is Socket LGA 1150. Intel Series Chipset 8 or 9 would be compatible. You don't mention size.

This is H97 Chipset. If you want cheap stuff, look for H81.
