I need help finding a os

I built my pc completely forgetting the fact that I need an operating system. I have little budget left. I would like windows 8.1. But its so expensive. Does anyone know a way for me to get a cheap os?

Windows costs what it costs. There is no 'cheap'. Unless you are a student, or your employer has a Home Use agreement with MS.
