Question I need help finding the right size Psu for my case

Hello everyone, I’m fairly new to building computers and I need some help from those of you whom are experts.

There are only 4 standardish power supply sizes.

atx, sfx, sfxl and 40mm slims.

sfx is small, sfxl is slightly larger
40mm slims are for server 1u or 2u chassis

atx is the most basic and common, that case will support an atx power supply. all cases you will most probably buy will actually support an atx power supply.

you as a consumer will probably never use 40mm slims

and if you ever buy a small form factor (sff) case, it will say on it
sfx or sfxl psu needed
