I need help! Im looking for ASUS P5ND2-Sli bios 0905version.

my motherboard is ASUS P5ND2-SLI (non deluxe) <Nvidia nForce4 Sli Intel Edition>

can any body help me.. please if someone here have this version of bios or someone knows where i can download it. please help me..

it was removed to asus website for not known reason.

this version of bios (0905) are made to support Intel Dual Core 65nm (e.g. PD920 / PD930 - PD960..

let me guess you need this bios to get your 9xx dual core working???

do you have a single core CPU to start up your comp?

then load windows and flash the bios.....

even if i posted the bios to you on a floppy disk you still need the single core cpu to get into dos.

Because this M/B does not "official" support the Intel 9xx series processors except with a beta version bios which I cannot find anywhere. I think it is 0905beta bios version.

With the Intel 805D I am unhappy too because it needs a LOT of power and produces a LOT of heat

I'm late to the game in upgrading my processor but I hope everything is figured out by now. Can anyone confirm the highest processor that will work in the P5ND2-SL (non deluxe)? Is the 0905 beta bios needed and if so can it be obtained from anyone here. I cannot find it to be downloaded anywhere. I'm sure someone is out there running a 9xx processor and knows the answer to this and can confirm stable operation for me. I only have a P4 3.0 Ghz so if I can put a Pentium D 930 or something of that sort in there to bring my computer up to speed without sinking a ton into it then I'd be so grateful. I bought this board when there was a thought that it would eventually be able to support all the newest 775 chips in the future and it totally floored me to find out the limitations of the board.

I doubt I could convince the wife that I need to gut my system to upgrade.

sorry in advance for digging up probably the oldest thread I ever have, but I have a buddy with this exact same issue and need the 0905 beta bios for a P5ND2-SLI (non deluxe). If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated...and incase anyone is wondering, yes, I have scoured the net for over 6 hours and do not think it is available anywhere.
