Question I need help, my cpu is getting really hot even though i am using the stock cooler while rendering a video (5600x)

Please help me, i have a bit of a overkill psu, i dont know if this is related but when i edit a high quality video and start to render it temps stay at 90 degrees celcius sometimes 95 for the whole rendering and then finally cools down after 2 hours of rendering. and my parents dont think i need a new cooler a (aio) they think i am overreacting, pls help me save my cpu

It will get really hot, unfortunately. Especially on the stock cooler. Tjmax is 95C so it's still safe but definitely not ideal.

One thing you can do with 5000 CPU's is undervolt using PBO2 with curve optimizer which helps cool it off somewhat. But the best thing by far is to put a better cooler than stock. There's quite a few how-to's on youtube.

Are all of your fans running at maximum speed? If so then that would be an argument of a new cooler.

is it safe for me to run it on 85-90 for 2 or 3 hours for the rendering?
i only render every 2 months
