I need help on a gpu problem!

I was going to get the gtx 970, but I just fond out that it has a problem! It has problem accessing the last .5 gb of vram. I'm currently getting a refund. But now I need a new card!
Does anyone have any suggestions that can match near this price of http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Superclocked-Graphics-04G-P4-2974-KR/dp/B00NVODXR4/
And can supply the same or more power of the gtx 970?

Buy a R9 290X then. Maske sure it'll fit in your case and that your power supply will reliably run it.

http://www.pcgamer.com/why-nvidias-gtx-970-slows-down-using-more-than-35gb-vram/ I know that most games don't use that. BUT, if I'm using multiple monitors I don't want it to fail...
