[SOLVED] I need help on formating this usb

Hi guys, im having a problem with my usb right now my dad gave it to me few days ago and tells me to format the usb. well i think its simple to just format an usb but theres a problem that preventing me from formatting this usb, there is a weird folder contains some weird other folder that preveting me from formatting the usb i think so ... but i need your guys help, i've tried to scan it with malwarebytes and it did remove the virus but i still cant format it, is there any way to format this usb guys ?

How can i get on safe mode & wot do i do to activate in-browser admin ? Wot image it keeps telling me to use to put windows on usb

What does it say exactly when you try and format the drive?

It said "format completed" and the drive is just still the same not formatted

Few days ago it said "windows was unable to complete the format"

Have you tried to reformat a different USB drive?

There is the possibility that the USB stick is broken, they do only have so many read/write cycles on them before they go bad.

I tried to format a different usb drive and it works on that different usb drive
I still can copy and delete files on that broken drive but i cant delete that weird folder

I really don't know. It could be damage to just that section of the drive or some a drive protection software which requires some work around.

Honestly USB drives are so cheap just toss it and get him a new one.
