Hi, I am going to build my first gaming pc soon, and my budget is around £1000. I don't know what the best possible pc I can make on that budget is.

This is what I think I'm going with, unless I'm told of something better to go with. Can someone tell me if this is good for the price and/or a better pc for around £1000.
The parts are:
Intel core i5 7600k
Cooler master - hyper 212 evo
Asus strix Z270-E gaming atx motherboard
Corsair vengeance LED 16gb (2 x 8gb) ddr4 3000
Samsung 850 EVO-series 250gb 2.5" ssd
WD blue - 2tb 3.5" hard drive
Asus GeForce gtx 1060 6gb dual video card
NZXT - s340 (white) atx mid tower case
Corsair CX450M power supply

Thanks.

This should be more optimized...

@hellfire13 this seems better than my build, so why is it cheaper. is that GTX 1070 as good as the normal one because it is smaller and has one fan. and is the stock cooler from intel good enough.

The 1070 is equal to all other 1070 cards. Different models are priced differently by different brands for market penetration but they all perform more or less equal. Also there are various offers floated by vendors from time to time to increase sell or stock clearance. Its better to grab those while offer lasts. All models of 1070 irrespective of the variant, has the same Cuda specs and similar clock ranges.
The intel stock cooler does the job as it is supposed to. Unless you are running extreme load 24x7, aft coolers are not required. But if you want better cooling, you can always attach a relatively inexpensive aft cooler like the Hyper Evo. It will give better cooling than the stock one.

One advantage of smaller cards is that they dont always necessarily need extra power source.

Ryzen build for you to nose at.
