i need help on unmounted boot volume???

guys i need info regarding this "unmounted boot volume" ---> what does
this mean??? this appears when i reopened my laptop... then a blue
screen appeared saying "unmounted boot volume" even the safe mode in
windows doesnt work...

re: unmount



the reason you cant go in to safe mode is because it is a windows partition problem. Go into your cmos when you start up usualy delete on pc, or f10 or something and see if your primary boot device is cd/dvd and put xp/vista dvd and re-partionion the drive some how when upgrading, because windows is gay will not mount the operating system on to the hard drive.Sometimes see if jumpers on hard driver are set to master. Under linux you can mount and unmount hardware in the os's gui
