I'm getting a Single 4K monitor, 5 1080p monitors, and I need to power them. I have a max budget of $375, and I need to be able to game on the 4K monitor (Low demanding games that don't require much power) and able to have small applications on each of the monitors. Even if I play games like BF4, or Minecraft, I always put the settings down as low as they can go. So anything above 40 FPS in those games, is my goal.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Well then you could actually most likely run two of the monitors off the R9-290 (the 4k and one of the 1080's), the other three 1080 monitors could be run off of one R7-250. That would keep your costs down pretty well and should work just fine.

Will it be able to power all 6 Monitors, whilst playing BF4, Ultra Low settings, in 4K, with above 40 FPS though?

You're going to need more than $375.00... Even driving a single 4k monitor is going to tax a decently powered card, and then you need to drive 5 more monitors in addition to that.

How many PCI-e slots do you have on your MOBO? You might need to use several of them and possibly use several cards - and you may need to go used on some of them to stay within the budget. I still don't know what would drive the 4k monitor though.

Anyhow, if you have enough PCI-e slots, I know that some of the older Nvidia FX-3700 quadro cards could easily drive dual monitors and those can be had dirt cheap on eBay. They have dual DVI ports (no vga/hdmi/displayport) and can be had for $20-30 on eBay and they're -very- quiet cards. That would cover 4 of the 6 monitors. You'd then need to find an Nvidia solution for the 4k, perhaps the GTX970 if you can find one at a good price.

Any way you cut it though running 6 monitors is going to require quite a bit of hardware.

You can either go with the Gtx 970
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127841&cm_re=gtx_970-_-14-127-841-_-Product
OR
If you are AMD fanboy go for
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127787&cm_re=r9_290x-_-14-127-787-_-Product

both GPU perform nearly same and it all comes down to the personal choice the only drawback i can think about R9 290x is that it consumes a lot more power than the GTX 970 i would say go with nvidia as most of the new games are well optimized on Nvidia

I have 4 PCI-E x16, 1 PCI-E x1, and 1 PCI slot.

I've seen benchmarks with a single r9 290, running BF4, High settings, in 4k, with an Average of 38 FPS. You can also get a 290 for about $250. That leaves $125 for other cards that have the ability to power the other monitors.

Wow, those 290's have come quite a bit in price then. Well, then the problem comes in while you can probably fit it in under budget for the video cards, you're running into a sheer bottleneck on space on your mobo. Your remaining PCI-e will be down to x1, which might drive one screen, but I'm doubtful as to two of them. Then you only have one PCI slot left, and anything that'll even fit in there is going to be circa 2004 or so...

What are the details of your build (complete specs including mobo model)?

CPU - AMD 8350
RAM - 32GB Avexir 4x8
Motherboard - ASRock 990FX Extreme9
Storage - x3 1TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD
PSU - Corsair AX1500i
Case - Silverstone TJ11B-W
4K monitor - Asus PB287Q
1080P monitors - x5 Asus VN289H

Ah - ok, well at that point the R9-290 would be good to go to run the BF4, that would take one of the PCI-e x16's and leave you 3 pci-e slots and about 16 lanes (x4/x4/x4). After that though you'll need to pick up some other ATI cards which support at least dual monitors.

Actually - the R7-250 will support up to three monitors - this depends though on what kind of connections you have on the monitors, careful shopping could get you the XFX R7-250 Ghost edition which supports dual-link DVI (2 monitors there) plus an HDMI or Displayport connection (monitor 3) and is a single slot solution. Two of those would handle the additional 5 monitors with room for one more. You might go a stitch over budget though by about $50 or so.

Are the monitor connections DVI, VGA, HDMI or display port?

The 4K has 2 HDMI and 1 Display port, the 5 1080p monitors are all DVI, VGA, HDMI, and Display Port.
