I Need Help please....about to go crazy and locked up

Hi all. I know that many ask these questions, but I have spent about 4hs. searching which motherboard would work with this memory.

G.SKILL DDR2 800 PC2-6400 1024MBx2 - F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ

I have 4GB in total. These memory sticks were given to me for free 😀

No I was looking at these motherboards, but they do not show on the QVL list.

ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

ASUS P5K64 WS LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS4 Rev. 2.0 LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard


What would you gurus do? Would you buy any of these MB, or get some new sticks that fall in the QVL?

In general, I understand Asus motherboards are more picky about the memory. Check out the GA-P35-DS3R or GA-P35-DS3P too, they're very good and you may save some cash.

I was looking at the boards you mentioned, and yes they might cut it. ranted the DS4 has more USB ports...
