Question I need Help Please

I recently purchased another 8gb of ram for my pc.
I have a m350 Bazooka Motherboard and a dual set of 2 8gb of ram GEIL Potenza that run at 2400 each.
AMD Ryzen 5 1400 quad
RX580 Graphics card


I am really new to upgrading my PCs and overall fiddling with the components on the inside of my PC and I installed the other 8gb of ram and Im not sure wether or not I installed the other 8gb of ram in the correct slot to take advantage of dual channel and Im not sure if I am suppose to do anything in the BIOS MSI program at the startup screen. Overall I didnt change anything in the bios and just " skipped it ". I have 16gb of ram installed but Im not sure if I have installed it correctly due to the fact that the games I play have made me drop 20-10 fps Im not sure what do.

Always check your motherboard manual first, you'd be surprised how much it will tell you

For Dual Channel you want your RAM in Slot A2 and B2.


Now the next issue may very well be the fact you can't just really add RAM sticks to existing RAM and have it work 100%. RAM is sold in kits of factory matched RAM for this reason.
